Meet Me WednesdayS is a free weekly walk, run, Stretch and Strength, Doc Walk with physicians, Tai Chi and more…at St. Philip’s Plaza starting on September 21, every Wednesday at 5:15 pm.

What to Expect
BRING A FLASHLIGHT!
Meet Me WednesdayS is a free weekly walk, run, DocWalk, Stretch and Strength and Tai Chi…yes lots of healthy things to do. Just show up in the St. Philip’s Plaza courtyard on any Wednesday evening. Bring your kids and Rover too. Check-in begins at 5:15. Join our Stretch and Strength class, brought to us by Body Works Pilates…5:20 to 5:45. What a great warm-up!
You can start anytime you like, but we will have a walk and run leaders at 5:50. We will walk or run up-to a 5k route on The Loop.
5:20 to 5:45 pm “Stretch and Strength”, brought to us by Body Works…a functional workout using your own body weight. An excellent way to prepare for your walk/run/DocWalk, etc. Appropriate for all ages and abilities.
5:50…Walk or run 1.2 mile, 2.2 mile, or 5K route with leaders. Or walk/run on your own anytime. The route is easy to follow if you take it easy or race ahead.
5:50…DocWalk…it’s a moderate workout while you walk…with physician leaders…2 miles. Physicians walk/exercise with us and answer questions about health and fitness. The DocWalk works most of the major muscle groups while we’re walking and is appropriate for most fitness levels…you should be capable of a moderately brisk walking pace.
5:50 Tai Chi with Donnie Poling
6:45 Closing ceremony… awards for those who have attended 10, 25, 50 and 100 times!! Stay for our free raffle for gift certificates and other prizes.
RETURNING MMLE PARTICIPANTS WILL KEEP THEIR ATTENDANCE CREDITS
When you finish you can enjoy discounted dining at one of St. Philip’s Plaza’s great restaurants, plus several others in the neighborhood. Check the “discount” tab to see who is offering discounts. Don’t forget to get your MMW hand stamp.
